Tribute to Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg.
I admire this woman so much. In my teens if you had asked me what I would like to become, I would have told you “I wanted to become a Supreme Court Judge” because one of my core value is Justice. I admire her not for her position, but her impact. She is a trailblazer, resilient, Titan, an icon, and woman of courage. She knows who she is, yet she did not compromise on her values and principles in exchange of power. With power comes responsibility and accountability. She embraced that responsibility and gave her all. She died empty.
During my branding session yesterday the brand consultant stressed the importance of “Knowing who you are”. I thought deeply about it and found myself peeling away some unwanted layers of expectations placed on me and even the ones I placed on myself. Seated in my quiet space to articulate my truth on paper as part of my written exercise.
One thing I am certain of is that I want to create a positive impact everyday, for this reason, I totally surrender each day to Gods divine order and divine purpose for my existence.
Who are you when the gram is not on, when you have no likes on your post, or when the camera is off, or when people are not calling your name from the roof top. If your position was withdrawn away from you today, will you still stand.
Who are you really?
Obstacles Are Not The Impediment To Success, rather they are the steps positioned perfectly to elevate you closer to your next assignment.
